why is one of my chickens staying away from the others?

Howdy,
I have three chickens. They free range and usually stick together. Today one of my chickens was hiding all day. I thought something got her then she finally came out around 6:30pm. Tonight it was kinda dark when I went to close up the coop, she was outside roosting. I put her inside with the others. This has never happened before. Is this a sign of sickness??

Hello , how old are the chickens? Its possible that she could be scoping out a nest site (assuming she is of that age) although the roosting outside is a little strange..... If not it could be a sign of sickness?? I would see if she does the same thing tomorrow.
