Why isn't my Mallard duck laying?

Hi all

I'm a bit confused. My 7 month old, female mallard has stopped laying. She layed her first egg on 16/5/2022 and her second on 19/5/2022 but after that I have seen no more blue-green eggs in her coop in the morning, or anywhere else in her enclosure.

Please help.

Mallards don't lay nearly as often as other ducks. Since yours is also young and just starting to lay, I am not at all surprised.

You may want to watch her in the morning. They are expert nest hiders. I just found a hidden nest in a tiny gap next to the coop I didn’t think mine could fit in.
