Why isnt my silkie laying?

I bought a 1 1/2 yr old silkie off of craigslist about 2 1/2 weeks ago and she still hasn't laid an egg yet... I know silkies will sometimes lay for a week and then take a month off is that what she's doing? And have heard it could take a couple of weeks for her to accumulate to the coop, but it's been a couple of weeks it has also been kind of rainy for the past few days could that be it?

The only laying hen I bought took months to lay. To be fair, I got her around September, so by the time she settled in it was winter. She didn’t lay until February.

She might just need more time.
