why no eggs?(update and contest)

So am I doing something wrong or are they just plain lazy?My 23w silkies are alresdy laying but not the older one(i know shes a she)what gives here?

Its in the 80s not to bad and they are on blue seal layer pellets the younger 16 and 15 weekers i still have them on grower

i stoped letting them have it cuz i thought it would make them overheat. This is not true?

That was the right thing to do, however changing their feed/routine can cause little stressors to set back a lay cycle. Hang in there and I'm sure they'll come around soon.

Edited to add that some birds go into a summer moult. Do you see any straggly looking ones or extra feathers laying around? That could be it too.

Nope no extra feathers. I wish they would hurry up! seems like mine are the oldest here that dont wanna give up the goods!

no I give them mashed potatoes and cottage cheese sometimes but not often
