Why not eat the egg?

Anyone ever ponder who stumbled upon the first egg and decided what comes out of a chickens back side must be good for eating?

I wonder if they were starving and desperate for food? Then when they ate the egg, they thought. mmmmmm......this is good!

Considering all the work that goes into making cocoa beans chocolate, I wonder how anyone ever considered doing all that work without first knowing they would get something delicious.

Oysters/clams/snails....

Why oh why did the first human look at oysters or snails of all things, and think....hmmmm I think THIS might be good to eat...

What about rocky mountain oysters?????? Who in thier right mind ever thought pig testies would taste good... Now that being said my hubbies bowling league always has a big roaster of them on the last night of bowling so I already knew he was a little nuts..lol Jenn
