Hi can anyone please explain why chickens do this please got scared this morning when she started doing this she is ok know eating again thank you

If she's stopped now she was probably just adjusting her crop. If she's doing it constantly it could be a symptom of something else. Birds adjust their crop every now and then, totally normal

Hi my chicken has hurt her leg and I do put her in a sling but when she onces out I let her but is it normal for a chicken to sit or lie like this were there legs are at the back of them it's her left left that is hurting her so I tried putting the weight on her good one but she keeps moving like this will she be ok

Unusual, does she seem to have pain in the good leg? I have had chickens that like being carried like that but don't rest like that. I have had birds though that will rest on their side and stretch their legs out.

Does she put the majority of her weight on the good leg? It is possible that her good leg is just sore and she wants to rest it. I would check to see if she has any bumblefoot in the good leg or swelling at the hip, just to be sure there is nothing wrong with it.

I have a hen that was slumped over one day on the perch and wouldn't put any weight on one leg. I have no idea what happened but she just hopped around on one foot. I brought her into my house and she lived in a nesting box for a month before she could walk again. She functions fine now, walking with a slight hobble, though her running is a bit strange. I asked a vet to examine her much later and was told that she had dislocated her leg, but that the tendons had grown to compensate and that she would be fine.

What does she do if you lift her up to stand? Does she hold her bad leg up or put it down and try to put weight on it? She looks to be over-mated or feather picked unless she is molting. I would suspect an injury. How old is she? Is she vaccinated for Mareks?
