I expected my silkie and cochins to go broody. It was even cute when the two "twin sister" blue cochins went broody together, hatched together, and raised the babies together. NOW I have a hatchery BR and a hatchery Wyandotte that are broody! AND my hatchery RIR is acting broody! I wish I had some good eggs to stick under them! LOL!

I thought everyone was getting ready to molt, or something. I've never had broodies before, now I'm overrun! LOL!

Two Silkies, one Wyandotte one Maran and on Hamburg. Even the non-setters go broody in this place at the moment!

I have five broodies! I bought some buff Brahma eggs and put some under each one, so hopefully we will have one big happy family in another week.
