Why was I not warned???

We have had chickens for years and only last week did they finally go after my wife's toes. Bright pink nail polish and sandals were a bad combo. Boy did she scream. I also had a hen try to remove my unpainted pinkie toe. She grabbed the toe in her beak and tried to remove it from my foot. I had to let her know that it was not food for her consumption. Quick reminder that they are little dinosaurs.
