We take long rope and attach to fence for ducks and geese. It starts off about a 5 ft double strand of strong rope and we tie probably 25-30 different types of knots until a complete mess. My waterfowl will spend all day entertaining themselves by untying every single knot one at a time. So curious lol. Keeps our plants from being eaten. My husband has tried hard knots as well and they still mange to get them untied. Incredible. I also hang the clear cheap fan pulls where chickens can’t reach but can see and they spend all day jumping up and down trying to get them. So funny!

Totally going to try this!

Mine have tried to steal my jalapeño picked fresh from the garden out of my hand, pecked my shoes, tried to eat my ring, and pecks off the ring that holds the waterer. This time they lost it and had to replace for hanging waterer. I still can’t find the ring from the waterer chain.

Here is the explanation. Red is supposedly an attraction for chicks hence bright pretty red combs and wattles helps to assist in mating and a major draw to the opposite sex. Don’t wear red.

Mine peck at my freckles, too. They also peck at my shoes/pants/hair, etc.
My 7 year old made the mistake of walking out near the chickens while eating an apple. He won't do that again.
