My blue Andalusian chicken hatched with a light green tint, and I don't know why. I don't dye my chickens or anything, the egg was pure white. If anybody knows why this happened please let me know, thanks.
Was there green gel in the box for the chicks to eat? Or a green smear on the straw, where the gel used to be? If so, I think I know where your chick got the green colorI just got a cackle hatchery surprise box with this Lil green tinted one in it.
I didn't see any green gel, but I also wasn't looking for it either! Was there green gel in the box for the chicks to eat? Or a green smear on the straw, where the gel used to be? If so, I think I know where your chick got the green color![]()
Some hatcheries put it in, and some don't.I didn't see any green gel, but I also wasn't looking for it either!
