Why won't Betty use the nest box?

Glad she got the hint, but I really suggest trying golf balls, they're kind of bird brains you know, and as long as they're heavy (not the hollow plastic toy eggs) they don't much know the difference. Come summer, you won't want eggs laying in the nest even a day, not to mention if they get sat on for long, they're kept at around 100 degrees even in winter!

I think it was the location of the box and now that she has accepted it, I probably won't have any problems with her not laying in there any more. At least I hope not.

You guys have inspired me to use the golf balls instead of the plastic Easter eggs. I will try that soon.
