Next time scoop trap and all and put it out side, your cats would take care of it. Carole try putting some dogfood in the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket and then put a ramp up to the edge on the outside. That little mouse will climb up smell the food and try to find a way in, it will fall eventually and then you have him. They cant jump that high. Another humane way to catch them is if you have a minnow trap that is like 2 mesh funnels connected. Put some dog food in that and set it out. THey will climb in and not be able to find thier way out, just like the minnows. Jenn

next time you catch a live one in a trap just pick up the trap with pliers or something so you dont get bit and go outside and throw it up in the air and when it comes down SMACK they are dead
