Why Won't My Chick Walk?

Hello!

I have seven 10 day old chicks that have been doing great until this morning. I noticed one of them doesn't want to walk, she just wants to scoot across the brooder. I picked her up and looked her over, no obvious sign of any issue that I can see. I set her down on the ground and she took off running towards the brooder and hopped right in, ran to the back and laid down again. It seems like she CAN physically walk but she seems to prefer scooting?? None of the other chicks are doing this. Nothing unusual happened to her that I'm aware of. They have all been vaccinated for Marek's. Any idea if something is actually wrong, or if she's just being a werido?

hey! while i'm not sure what's going on with her, i can say that i've had chicks do the same thing. they just scoot around and only get up when they have to (i can relate lol!). she looks fine to me, and all of my chicks that have exhibited this have turned out fine. hopefully it's just a phase! she's really cute, though. what breed is she?

Thank you!! I'm assuming she's just too lazy and likes to freak me out . I know they do some weird things sometimes but I'm a worrier! She's a Blue Splash Maran, my first time with this breed!
