During the first 18 days, keep under 45% for sure. I like to keep it between 30-35%. Last 3 days I don't like it any lower than 70%. The higher the humidity in the last 3 days, the better. I can't get it higher than 78% unless I add additional containers with water. 70-72% is what it has stayed at this hatch. It worked out perfectly, and all chicks had dry air cells when they pipped. No drowning from high humidity the first 18 days, and no getting stuck from tough membranes after day 18.thanks from what i read it is definitely a humidity issue. my temperature was perfect and the only time we opened the bator was to add water, we kept it at about 50-60%. what is best to keep it at?
