Why won't my hen eat?

She actually passed away that night. We don't know why. She was doing very good, then the next morning she was gone.
I'm sorry to hear. Thanks for the update. In future, if you lose a bird and don't know why, it can be a good idea to send the body to a state lab for a necropsy. Don't freeze it, but double bag it in plastic and refrigerate it. Do a search for "state lab" or "necropsy" to find the lab nearest you for addresses and cost, if any. This info can be useful to be sure nothing is going on that might endanger your flock. Best wishes going forward.
