i built a new coop for them and its all perfect and a quality build but they wont go in it and im scared they will get they will get too cold or frightened

When you offer your quail a coop and run, the only way to get them to use the coop, is to lock them in it for a few days. They need to feel that is it ok and safe to be in there. If you don't lock them in, they will never use it. After they have been in there for a couple of days, they will remember that it as a place of comfort and will use it for bad weather, cold nights or rainy days. When you open the door after a few days, they will never forget to use it.

Always make sure the coop has plenty of light, ventilation, food, water and enough space to stay in there for a few days.
