we have a pair of black call we FINALLY got our first hatch of two one is black and one is white (yellow) with orange legs and bill! anyone know how this could be?
why would a pair of black calls have a white duckling?

My guess is recessive genes. My friend had a white lab female and a chocolate lab male and all 10 of their puppies were black.

Probably recessive, my BBS Cochins would ocassionally throw a solid white in their clutches too.
