Why would airspace be on the side of the egg?

It is Day 11 and I have been candling all my eggs. Airspace has been at the biggest end of the egg, except last night when I candled one egg, it was on the side of the egg. All of the eggs are in an egg turner. Very weird. What could have caused this?

Shipped eggs seem to do that a lot. Detached air cell. If it is doing well so far, it shouldn't cause a problem.

I actually picked these BCM eggs up locally. Would it start out normal and shift like that? The eggs are tricky to candle, but with a very close eye it seems ok.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I had a duck egg recently that was like that. Probably just a misfire. I didn't try to hatch it though. I'd still try to hatch it.
