I love my girls because they eat all the kitchen trimmings, garden leftovers, clean-out-the-refrigerator-leftovers, anything and everything and give me lucious yummy eggs in return!

Because they are cute! I also love how they are playful- chasing bugs around the yard. They are really a part of our family- and have brought my husband and I closer together by working on the coop together (not that we weren't already close-- just in a different way!). I also love how they seem "excited" to see me in the morning when I open the coop door.
