Why?

I have noticed lately that when I attempt to pet or pick up my one BR that it hunches down and pulls its wings up in attempt to prevent me from moving it...any idea why or what it means?

Just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with her and she wasn't going to flip out and peck my eyes out something.

We call that the chicken dance here. Does she stomp her feet really fast too? She should lay eggs soon. My BA laid yesterday. She had been doing "the chicken dance" for about two weeks.

Hhhhhhhmmm...I hadn't notcied the feet thing, I'll pay closer attention. They are just 19 weeks as of Wednesday so I'm hoping for some eggs soon

It does make them much easier to catch once they start squatting.
