WHY ????

If a predator or accident has to happen WHY does it have to happen to my favorite hen or rooster??? I have Young cull type roosters running around and old nasty hen types that peck my hand at egg collecting time but does fate find them???? Course not!

She tried to stand on the rim of a planting bucket it tipped on top and it was black and it is hot here- and well you do the math... also my only blue laced red Wyandotte pullet got nailed by a hawk.

It's Murphy's Law of Predation. When a hawk attacks my pigeons, it is always the best performer that gets killed.

The bucket up ended & she got trapped under the bucket? That's some crazy, bad, dumb luck. Shoulda happened to the hawk instead. Sorry for the loss.
