WI call ducks needed ASAP!!!!!

Anybody have some call ducks here in WI? I hatched out one little guy and his friends will not be arriving for another week or 2. Poor baby needs friends!

If nobody responds, you can do something...

Get a little mirror and a turkey feather duster and attach them to the side of the brooder.

Make sure the duckling can climb under the feathers of the duster.

It works like a surrogate mom and the mirror gives it some siblings

I don't have any Call ducklings, but I do have some Dark Campbells (about a week old) right now, and Indian Runners hatching this weekend. I'd be happy to give you a couple.

An Indian Runner would be a good friend for a call I think. At least it wont squish the call...they don't have enough meat on their bones

Fordmommy offered some to keep him company as well, but they are so much bigger I think he would be squished!

Maybe they will come the beginning of the week right away so I do not have to wait too long.

Should I quarantine the new arrivals or just toss them all together right away?

Ok, thanks Wifezilla I added the mirror. He was scared of it at first but now he is quite happy looking at himself. I'll try to get a featherduster for him to hang out in today.

It does take them a while to make friends with that "other duck", but once they settle down they talk to it. Cracks me up!
