Wierd eggs.

So today I got this egg from my OEGB, or one of the Partridge rocks.

Whats up with that?

The EQH is mainly for commercial operations but we can learn from it. If this is a rare event, I figure we are all entitled to an oops every now and then. If this become consistent then you might have a cause for worry. That egg is perfectly safe to use.
 
Those are calcium deposits, caused mainly by the intake of excess calcium, or stress. However, it’s also fairly common in young layers. It’s never really a reason for concern, unless it is a recurring issue, in which case that may indicate a defective shell gland.
