TEXAS - The state's "Safe Cupcake Amendment" protects the right of parents to bring the frosted petite treats to school on their children's birthdays. Lawmakers adopted the amendment in 2005 after the Texas Department of Agriculture banned junk food in public schools. Parents lobbied to protect the cupcake, and lawmakers, in a bipartisan gesture, agreed.

Weird?? Hhmmm.. save the cupcakes....makes perfectly good sense to me. About time those worthless politicians got it right!!

Ya know ... there's just nothing that can be said here... people have become so warped and sue happy that now we have to have a law to bring cupcakes to school!!!

Go cupcakes!!!

I think that is a great law!
Around here there is a school district that strictly prohibits it!
Instead a parent has to bring prepackaged, individually wrapped, store bought garbage.

That's really strange. We must have laws for everything now! I guess we should stop breathing, there isn't a law that says it's ok...
