Wierd spots

For te past few days, my RIR hen has been goin off laying her eggs in a hidden place that no one can find. Up until now she Lao in the laying boxes like the others. What's up?

She may not be able to lay in the nesting boxes, how many do you have? How many hens do you have?

We have 4 nesting boxes and three hens. There's no reason why she couldn't.

Hmm, she may feel insecure laying and wants a "safe" place to lay. My hen tends to do the same thing and I'm still trying to "cure" her.

Ok. Well I just found her nest a few minutes ago. She sang the egg song and I found her just as she was coming out from under the workshop. Uggggh. We'll never get those eggs.
