Here's our girls:

Pia - short for Pain In the A**...she was a PIA when she was a pullet..now she is our sweetest lap hen!
Gabby - she never shut up as a chick
Frenchie the explorer - we just call her Frenchie...she's very curious
Bandit - she has black on her beak
Molly - she just seems like a Molly

As for funny...Pia's name makes people laugh (though were pretty serious when we named her!

)

Most of these were named by other people, when kids come to the farm they think its just great to get to name a chicken AND pick real chicken eggs out of the nest boxes lol. Almost all of the chickens are named, but these are the more unusual ones.

Hornswaggle - little mixed bantam roo
Studnugget- barred rock roo
McLovin'- silver laced wyandotte henhen
Nerd- a black polish roo whos missin some of his feathers
Queen- silver laced polish
Jelly- lavender silkie (the ag class named her before she was out of the egg, peanut and butter didnt hatch)
Jim- a black hen, also named by a student in the ag class
Dodge- hardy concord hen, named by the ag class
Diablo- a very sneaky rhode island red
Big Bird- mixed roo
Ace- black rosecomb pullet

And thats all I can seem to think of off the top of my head

I used to have a hen that would jump up to bite you and we called her "Mad Eye Moody"

A while back..probably a year or more...someone on here said they named their chickens Dinner, Lunch, etc.

Somehow I don't think those chicken are around anymore.

I have a mean hen who bites me a LOT and we call her the Skank. She also is the bottom of the pecking order, go figure.
