Don't do what the majority of us probably did; don't put the cart before the horse. Get the facilities all squared away before you get any birds, when you don't have to rush.

Honey...is that you? Haha, just kidding. I've been telling my husband for years we need some backyard chickens. I hope to get the coop and run set up this summer, and get chicks by next spring. I have lots of questions, which is why I'm here. Everyone has been very welcoming and patient with all of my silly questions!
