So I got my flock over the worst of whatever it was that was ailing them, not sure what it was, some sort of a "cold" or whatever, so now I am going to proceed with worming them. I saw another worm in some poo today it was about a half inch long, super skinny and light brown and really wiggly, tho I suppose thats what worms do. Does anyone have any ideas on the type of worm this might be? I saw the same type of worm in some poo about a month ago. I have been checking everybody's poo now almost every day, and it has taken that long to see the same type of worm again in the poo. I should have taken a picture (dangit!), I havent seen this worm type anywhere on this website. I think I will follow Dawg 53s advice on worming with Valbazen and Wazine. That looks like it would get all possible types (?)

Sounds like roundworms..@dawg53 , Valbazen then Wazine or just Valbazen now and Valbazen again in 10 days?

Just valbazen, then repeat w/ valbazen again in 10 days.
Ok then just the Valbazen. Any particular reason you are not recommending both Wazine and Valbazen? I have never wormed my chickens before. Is this something I should do on a regular basis? Thanks!

There is no need to stress your chickens by worming with two different wormers when Valbazen will do the job.

Thank you. I was kind of worried about giving them two different ones, especially since they are not at 100% yet, which is why I've been procrastinating. I dont think I should put it off any longer tho. I wish I could figure out which chicken it is, I know its one of my bigger ones, I have 3 EE's one Turken and two silikes and one bantam EE. I suppose it doesnt really matter, they all probably need it, I'm just curious more than anything. I suspect it may be Penelope, my Turken...

Yep I am going to worm them tonight with their first dose. I just got the oral syringe out. Thanks for your advice! I see you are in Gilroy, I am not to far away from you in Morgan Hill. So glad the weather cooled off, the heat is so hard on these guys.....
