Ice went into his den and looked around. He was lonely, and wanted a friend. He sighed and looked at the stars, not able to sleep. He went outside and went fishing.

Ice looked shocked. " Why join your clan? What Clan are you?"

snowstripe lurked close by the training session between addertail and whitepaw. she marked a trail of scent leading to her favorite place. The trail led to a mossy hollow filled with fern and ivy and hidden by brambles. a small spring fed pool welled up between the rocks. there was a sheltered half cave that she nested in. she caught a mouse and settled down to wait.

Snowstripe was frustrated. She went back to the training area and hissed softly as she purposely rustled the bracken. She started to lather her scent along the trail.
