Wild Bird Seed - Are the chickens okay to eat it?

I've been feeding the wild birds around here with my feeder. However, the seed falls quite a lot , and the chickens go crazy over it. Is it okay for them to eat it? I've noticed one or two of them have diarrhea. Need help with my problem.

Likely the diarrhea isn't from the seed but from the something from the wild birds. Keep an eye on them. I would stop them from eating things under the feeder and just give them their own. Wild birds carry diseases that our chooks can get sick from. The bird seed is usually millet and sunflower, chook treats!

Don't mean to sound clueless, but how would the chickens get sick from eating what falls from the bird feeder?
