Wild but domesticated

Im having problems with my 12 week olds mallard ducks, they were raised with my chickens, still sleep in the same coop, we have a pond and they only went to it for about a week, now the free range outside the run, but want nothing to do with the pond. I walk them over give them treats and 2 minutes later they fly right back! I got mallards so they can enjoy the wild life! Did I baby them too much?

No that’s just a pool I got for them and put it by the coop, because they won’t go in the pond anymore. This is the pond

Welcome sounds like some type of predator maybe a large snapping turtle scared them, and their instincts know better. Love the floating duck house.
