Wild dove with broken wing. Help!

This morning I found a young mourning dove walking around on the ground, seemingly with a broken or sprained wing. I was already running late for work so I had to leave it in the backyard. When I go on break I want to try to find it and help it. What should I do? Wrap the wing to it’s body with ace bandages? I can’t just leave it to die out there. Help please!

I know you were and are worried, I'm sorry.

Maybe she flew off, lets hope so.

Sometimes they can get a little stunned and walk about for a while, then are able to work their wings.

Could be she found a low bush to get into, it's hard to know.

We used to have a lot of Mourning Doves here, but I only see a few every year now. I really like them.
