Storm guided the rest of the herd to a large patch of bushes for them to hide in. Jay stayed close to his mother.

Storm stopped at the bush and turned to address everyone. "You stay here, and hide. Do not move unless any predators find you, and if they do, keep the young in the middle and run toward the mountains, then call for us." He said sternly, then galloped toward Hans.
 
Others ran out, trying to attack the bull who killed a pack member. He threw many out of the way but one got the back of his leg and ripped and tour at it, he swung his head around, not knowing where the target was.
 
Feather had to help, she ran at the wolves and knocked them away, she yelled to Hans. "Are you okay?"

Hans looked at her sternly, "Yes, I'm fine, but I don't want anyone risking themselves for their leader. The leaders deal with the problems, okay?" Hans said, Feather could've easily gotten hurt.
