Wild Guineas

How old are they? The easiest way to tame them is to start when they are babies. It requires handling them quite a bit, like a few hours a day. Then you need to keep it up as they get older. My son used to carry around one of ours as a baby, but then he got busy with school, and over time it lost some of its comfort with him. Once he catches him, he settles down, but catching is the hard part!

Older ones are much more difficult, if not impossible, to tame.
 
They love white millet, but it is a bit hard to come by this year due to the drought. You might try to find it at a feed store in your area - make sure you ask for WHITE millet. They love it!

They also like greens, like lettuce, but if yours are free-ranging already, they might not respond to that as enthusiastically as they would the millet.
