WILD HEN Hatched her babies.....

The wild hen (as we call her since she is a red jungle fowl) hatched out her babies under the table in a woven basket right outside of the house.

Today, we walked by and she was "talking" to her chicks.

We knew right away that she hatched out and we took her and her babies to the nursery and shut her up with food.

She is a happy mom and her babies are safe and warm under her.

Three new babies now, we are adding these to the ones in the barn to make 10 now.

All the hens seem to have gone broody and we are getting chicks for next spring.

Ain't nature grand ?!
