Calypso nickered, and looked behind her, at Jitterbug. She snorted and began to gallop, folding her legs under her and flinging them out. The world whizzed by. The sun, a fiery ball, was climbing up farther to the mountain peaks.

Jitterbug squealed and tossed his mane, galloping after her, feet thundering across the dry ground, coat glistening in the brilliant sun.
