Apache was fed-up. First, Diablo wanted Flowers, now it appeared Coal did, too. The dun colt moved once again to block Coal, baring his teeth. "Back off, Coal!"

(if Apache's a yearling, wouldn't Coal be 2 years?)

Coal stood his ground, obviously unimpressed by Apache's display.

Char wandered over, not giving her twin the time of day. Instead, she looked at Flowers. "Hi, I'm Char, his twin."
