Saturn sniffed him.

Sunstreak reared, enticing his daughter to come play with him and Neptune.

Saturn crow-hopped around her sire and father.

"He seems like it." Jake nodded. "Do you still have 'run-ins' with Sun Burst's herd?"

"Yes. And they're not to pleasant." She envisioned her killing Shaz. It was a nice thought.

It turned out that Shaz was thinking about Riley, too. He had the tiniest bit of a crush on her. He liked Holland, but he admired Riley's free spirit. He sighed, wishing he could have both mares.
