Windstar really wanted to meet Bandito, but she knew better than to press her luck with Winona. The dun would just have to try again later.Winona growled, and turned away with a flick of her tail. Bandito stood still, staring at Windstar for a moment. His dam whipped her head around, and gave him a firm nip on the rear. Bandito squealed, and a streak of black foal cannonballed to his mother's side.
Diablo raised his eyebrows in amusement. "Winona'll come around. Eventually."
"Are you sure? If she can't be friends with someone like Windstar, what hope do I have?" Sundance didn't wait for an answer. She walked over to Windstar to soothe her twin's ruffled feelings.
"Come on, Windstar. Let's play." It only took Sundance a few nips to Windstar's hip to get the lighter twin excited. Soon, the twins were cantering happily together, kicking up their heels almost in unison.
