Outlaw looked behind him, his hurt plain as day in his eyes. "Dezi, you haven't said two words to me for days. What did I do? Or are we just not as close as I thought we were?"

Dezi whined sadly. "It's just because." She stopped for a second.

"I love you! That's why! I was just to shy to say it!" She blurted out.

Outlaw brushed against her. "I love you too, Dezi," he murmured. "That's why it hurt so much, when you didn't speak to me."
