Monsoon looked at Helio. "I suppose we could race, but I'll have to wait until Typhoon's awake. If she wakes up, and I'm gone, she tends to panic. It's not pretty, either."

Typhoon twitched in her sleep as if she'd heard her twin.

Quicksilver and Moonstar continued their journey, trotting steadily past streams, over hills and into a steep valley. (one of these landscapes has valleys, i just know it)

Monsoon lowered her head and grazed, waiting for Typhoon to finish her nap.
Tornado and Hurricane suckled at her udder. They would do the same to Typhoon once she awoke.

Sapphire trotted by Cerulean. She nuzzled her side.

Eventually, Typhoon awoke and climbed to her feet. The Morgan mare shook vigorously, chewed a few minutes then walked a few yards off to graze.
Tornado and Hurricane, having drained Monsoon's milk, followed her.
"I guess we can race now," Monsoon said, looking at Helio.

Turquoise squeaked and rolled over.
