Glaze whinnied to Wildfire and then sniffed the grass. It tasted bitter now. "Wildfire,can we move somewhere else? The grass here has turned bitter,it's starting to die." Being a new broodmare,Glaze needed all the food she could get.

Wildfire looked at Glaze, his expression surprised. "You're asking me if we can move on? It's the lead mare's job to decide where the herd goes."

Plunder surged after them,slowing down to look over his shoulder every once in a while to see if somthing was following them.

Glaze frowned. "Well,I just thought you would want me to ask you instead of rudley blurting out. 'I want to go!' I don't want to be one of those bossy mares." she smiled wickedly. "Unless you WANT me to!"

Zephyr broke into a canter and cantered for a few strides then started to gallop.

Moon Raven plowed ahead, tall grass whipping against her legs. Gradually, her fright dwindled, and she slowed to a trot, finally a walk.

Wildfire didn't know what to say to that. Flicking his tail, he flashed Glaze a smug grin and said, "I just want you to be you, as I am me."

Plunder came slowly to a stop. His nostrils still flared and the white of his eyes showed,but he soon relaxed and calmly swished his tail. "I hope you two don't think I'm crazy for running from that do you?"

Glaze tried to hide the smile growing on her face. "I am being me when I ask you if we can move. It's better than just walking off." She looked at the sky,then began to walk slowly into the sunlight,then looked back. "Are you coming?"
