Turquoise lifted her head, wincing at the bite on her crest. The bite on her flank hurt much less. Hearing her twin, she turned her head gingerly to look at her. "Is he gone?" she asked.

Cerulean almost smiled at hearing the same question. Instead, she nuzzled her twins and said, "If he's smart, he won't be back."
