Turquoise nickered apologetically, letting Moon nudge her along. "I didn't mean to. I was just bored. You and Mom both fell asleep."
Monsoon was first to awaken from her nap. Shaking her head, she wandered off in search of something besides dry grass to eat. She figured she wouldn't find anything in this desert.

Moon walked beside her.
Cerulean approached when Moon and Turquoise came into view. The mare gave the foal a light reprimanding nip then looked at Moon. "If I wasn't relieved she's alright, she'd be in bigger trouble."
Turquoise had taken the nip without flinching, and now, she was suckling hungrily.

Cerulean nickered at Chocolate, calling the other twin to come nurse as well.
Zephyr whinnied and shook her head. She reared and whinnied again her lonliness could be heard in her whinny.
