Ore shook his mane and gave a kick. he trotted around looking for someone to play with. he was big for his age and wanted to burn off his extra energy. He was getting older too,almost TOO old to be in a herd.
Darkness saw Ore running around,but refused to go play. he was tired and his growing body needed rest. He didn't WASTE his energy like his idiot fellow colt did.
Cliff ate hungrily,almost inhaling the grass. He flicked at a fly before looking up at the herd,seeing if everything was safe. He saw somthing move,and whinnied fearfully.
Avalanche heard Cliff's warning and lifted his head. he looked around with fear in his eyes.
Rebel snorted and reared up from the desert sand. He was looking for a challange. he screamed hauntingly into the desert sand.
Plunder dropped to his knees. he hurt all over. Bbloody and beaten up. He lay down to sleep,hoping no other stallion saw him.
Tornado whinnied fearfully. The shadows were closing in. She hated to be by herself and was scared without other horses around.
Sham pranced under the desert sun,his namesake shining down on him. He bravely whinnied,looking for a mare to snake away.
Coppper wakled meekly along. The last stud had given him a whipping he would remember. He flopped down to rest.
Glaze smiled down at her new foal. She licked it's coat.She nickered,loving the little bundle of life before her. Then Glaze woke up. It was just a dream. It still haunted her. She whinnied mournfully,longing for the foal she lost a long time ago.
Cochise layed his head in the grass before him. he had been mourning a while now. His mother,who he traveled with,had died. Wolves: he had seen them do it. He couldn't get there in time. The unborn foal inside of her also perished. Cochise had been looking forward to it's birth. it would have been his brother or sister. he whinnied his grief.
