Copper dipped his head to looked at the tasty grass. "How come he isn't back yet?" Copper challenged. Then he looked up at Snowbird. "I understand. You can come with me...if you want."

Cliff ran over to her. "Hello!"

"Hi," Alpine said perking her ears

Sapphire whinnied and walked over to Turquoise. "CERULEAN!!!!" She screamed, licking the foal.

Crystal watched Orestes. She ran over to him and bit his legs as hard as she could.

Orestes screamed and shook himself free. He could fight one-on-one but not an entire herd. He would leave for now, but before he did, he would leave Cerulean with a reminder that he would return.

Turquoise was standing away from the other horses. Rushing the foal, Orestes bit it fiercely on the neck then bolted. He whinnied loudly as he left.

"Orestes!" Tornado ran to him. "What was that all about?" (Now we wait for Rocks.)

Zach plundered aimlessly through an abandoned field. His hooves dragged on the ground, boredom taking over all other thoughts and emotions. Lacey snorted. Her pregnant belly was getting bigger.


There was a soft snort in the distance. Thinking he'd imagined it, Zach continuing this walking. Lacey walked closer. She noticed him and snorted again.
Zach flicked his ears slightly, and paused. Lacey stopped. "Who are you?" She asked.

Zach looked at her, blinking slowly. He didn't reply.

"Orestes!" Tornado ran to him. "What was that all about?" (Now we wait for Rocks.)

Orestes blew out a sharp breath. He looked at Tornado and lashed his tail. "That blue roan is too good for that wimp of a stallion." He shook vigorously and whinnied angrily in Moon's direction. "A stallion should fight his own battle, not depend on his mares to do so!"
