Monsoon and Typhoon had become separated from both Helio's herd and now their foals.

"You fell asleep on watch?" Typhoon snapped.

"I passed out from the heat!" Monsoon retorted.

"Foals are easy pickings. We'll be lucky if we even find their remains," Typhoon added.

"It doesn't matter what I think," Orestes said. "I'll go first. I am Orestes."

Helio walked up to them. "Did you hear me? We're leaving the desert!!"

Monsoon and Typhoon both turned to Helio, speaking as one. "We're not leaving until we find our foals!"

Monsoon and Typhoon both turned to Helio, speaking as one. "We're not leaving until we find our foals!"

Chocolate dug her head into her mother's side and then turned to look at Moon, who had a tear falling down his face.
