"He's not nice! You're a loon!" Cerulean blurted out. "He tried to murder my foals!" She turned her attention to Moon. "If you tell him that, he'll know something's up. If you wanted to get rid of me, you would've let Orestes snake me."

"I don't want to get rid of you!" he thought a while. "Then I'll just stay at the herd. And wait till he shows up again."

"Well, whatever you say," Cerulean said. She neared Moon and nudged his head with hers. "Your plan better work, 'cause he seems to have it in for me and any foal borne to me by you."

The blue roan headed out, her heart aching at the thought of leaving her foals. Moon apparently hadn't thought that all the way through. Injured foals couldn't travel.

(still need time-skip, so Orestes can return...or do anything for that matter)

Chocolate had bounded after her. Lunar walked beside her,nuzzling her for comfort. Moon bounded after them. "Wait--Cerulean, know that I love you. I live for you. I'd die for you. " he nickered and nudged her shoulder gently. "Goodbye."
Moon went back to his herd.

Cerulean stopped and looked at Moon. "We've been through this already. I know." She nickered and nuzzled her muzzle against his neck. "I'll see you later."

When she moved off again, Turquoise followed albeit slowly.

Chocolate walked beside her sister. "You can do it! C'mon, Turquoise!" Lunar smiled faintly at Cerulean.
Moon was back at the herd. "Now let's act like nothing happened." he began to graze.

(Timeskip into April?)
