Wait I Here a disturbance" Blueswift said so he flew up to se the big snarling mountain lion with a cat in its jaws so hel flew down and took a claw-swoop at his face it got his nose so he dropped the cat and slammed bliswift into his log
 
(Peafowl are loud they can be heard 15 miles or more away) bluswift cried out for all the glares to hear Mointain lion help!
 
Blueswift yelled run just as he said that the hug mountain lion pounced with a bone rattling snap his right wing twisted and broke he could smell the sour mountain loins breath on his face and then it happened it bit him on the head it went threw one eye but no further damage so he played dead and waited
 
Bluswidt rolled into his best and hastily grabbed all of his cobwebs and rolled them around his broken wing as tight as possible then he jumped out of his nest right as the mountain lion was prepared to pounce on Mattie he flew over and picked her up by the scruff and took of into the air

Mattie had Passed out from all the blood loss, but saw who was carrying her, "Blueswift?" She asked in a meek voice.
 
"Yes we are going to the den site you'll be okay." Blueswift landed at the den site but as they were nearing the cobwebs fell and they crash landed right into a den
