Khalula trotted towards the two herds. She heard a stallions neigh. “What do you think? Should we go?” She asked Pepper. She continued trotting down the track. “Here’s an idea how about we stay downwind from the stallions and observe them with their herds?” Without waiting for an answer Khalula trotted to the fringe of the trees. She saw 2 stallions fighting over two stunning mares, she suddenly felt insecure about where she may stand. In every other herd she’d been prized for her beautiful blue coat and her wisdom about the bush, but now she wasn’t so sure.
